How exactly would you describe pole dancing? It’s actually not as risqué as some would believe it to be. The reality of it is simple, pole dancing isn’t meant to be something for others to "watch" it’s meant to be something that’s fun and exciting for you as a woman, it builds character, it allows you to let loose from any inherent worries, and it’s also a good way to get more fit and healthier. What’s better than having fun and working out at the same time?
If you’re looking for a night with friends, there’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t at least try some pole dancing just to see what it’s like. Go out to a store that specializes in equipment like long poles and see what you can find, bear in mind the size of the pole as you obviously don’t want it to be taller than your ceiling so always pay close attention to that detail, and also be sure to ask for explicit instructions on how the pole should be set up in your home as you don’t want to set up the pole incorrectly only to incur an injury, that’d screw your entire evening and you’ll instantly regret making the purchase in the first place.
Other things to consider before making the jump to pole dancing is: learning. Sure you can goof around on a pole for a little while but that’s going to get pretty old, pretty fast, why not shake things up a bit? Hire an instructor to teach you the "how" and the "when" so you don’t start dancing blind and end up knocking one of your friend’s teeth out by accident. Check to see if an instructor you find has a website, if he or she can be contacted directly, set up some sort of meeting to see how exactly they go about doing their own dances, learn from that and see if you can implement that same touch in front of your friends. It doesn’t hurt to try, even if you’re only doing it for fun recreational purposes.
Once you’ve learned all the stops you’ll start having a great time in no time flat. And if this idea of partying sparks your interests a lot, ask your instructor if there’s anything else you can do to add a little more spice to your pole dancing party, they will be thrilled with your interest and will suggest whatever means necessary to make your party something that will be remembered for a long time to come. Ask them for a list of items that might spark your interest.
